Compared to the standard Navigator 500 the Navigator 520 provides users with a 20% larger screen, without compromising on the user’s view of the real world. The Navigator 520s display is HD, providing a resolution of 1280 x 720 far superior to that of the Navigator 500. Because of the improvement in the display, users can see text, graphics and more in better detail.

The microphone and camera of the Navigator 520

Second, the Navigator 520 has a camera that can shoot pictures with a resolution of 48 MP. This makes it one of the best-suited AR headsets for remote expertise and maintenance because of this camera. Along with the photos it can capture the device also support 1080p video quality at 60 frames per second. This quality ensures high-resolution remote support can take place, allowing for sessions to be more effective saving time and resources.

Third, the RealWear Navigator 520 is built to be used hands-free thanks to its industry-leading voice-control technology. The voice control is so good on the Navigator 520 it can filter out external noise to levels up to 100db as well as understand the user in these same situations thanks to its noise-cancelling microphones. Along with this the Navigator 520 supports more than 12 languages natively.

Adjustable and robust

Fourth, the RealWear Navigator 520 is made to withstand use in the most challenging of conditions. Not only can it be dropped from 2 meters and remain functional, but it also has a number of safety certifications that make it safe for use in heavy industry. One of which is its IP66 certification, which makes the device capable of withstanding contact with heavy dust and water.

Fifth, the boom arm of the RealWear Navigator 520 is fully adjustable making it easy to be adapted to the user’s eye. This ensures that the screen fits perfectly with any head shape and allows the display to be seen clearly. Along with this the boom on the Navigator 520 provides more eye relief to that user compared to the standard Navigator 500 allowing users to place the display further from there eyes so users can see the screen more easily.
