NXRT – Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise
NXRT is an Austrian technology innovation company founded in 2019. It specializes in developing interactive experiences that allow products to be virtually, realistically, and immersively experienced, both before their physical market launch and for visualizing various configurations of existing products. NXRT’s solutions are used for sales, marketing, and training purposes.
The HeroShow by NXRT is an interactive 3D product catalog based on mixed reality, developed for the automotive industry as well as for emergency services, heavy-duty and special-purpose vehicles, and the defense sector. The HeroShow enables the projection of digital objects, such as vehicles, in 3D and true-to-scale into real-world environments, allowing customers to explore upcoming models in detail. Users can interactively configure colors, accessories, equipment options, and dimensions, customizing their vehicles before purchase.
The mixed reality presentation of configuration options can be used in showrooms, employee training sessions, or trade fairs. It simplifies understanding and decision-making by clearly and vividly demonstrating complex product offerings to both customers and staff.

The Challenge
NXRT required a scalable, wireless mixed reality headset that could meet the high technical demands of its HeroShow experience, a solution used across sectors like automotive, emergency services, military, rail transport, and heavy machinery. Key requirements included high-resolution visuals, excellent image stability, reliable pass-through functionality, and hygienic usability for repeated demos and public deployment.
Beyond the headset itself, NXRT was also looking for a long-term partner to support the full-scale rollout of its solution. This meant more than just supplying hardware, they needed a setup that could handle everything from purchasing and preparation to delivery and support, without adding operational overhead on their end.
Access to developer tools was essential to tailor the HeroShow experience, but so was finding an infrastructure that could grow with them: fast delivery across the DACH region, stock availability, and cost-effective logistics. The goal was to keep NXRT’s internal operations lean while ensuring their HeroShow experience could be deployed quickly and reliably, whether for demos, sales meetings, or large-scale training initiatives.
The solution
To meet these needs, NXRT partnered with VR Expert to integrate the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise into their HeroShow system. VR Expert supported the deployment with:
- Device logistics and configuration: Complete management of orders and shipments of devices preloaded with HeroShow content and fully configured, delivered ready to use throughout the DACH region. This reduces the time between receiving the hardware, preparing the devices, and shipping them to the end customer, saving NXRT time and reducing internal resources.
- Component storage: headsets, tablets, and accessories are stored by VR Expert between shipments. This means that no warehouse is required on the NXRT side, as they can manage their pool from a central hub, directly via VR Expert dashboard.
- International shipping: Scalable delivery, focused in the DACH region, enabling quick rollout without operational overhead.
The complete HeroShow package combines the Pico 4 Ultra Enterprise headset with a tablet, POS display, transport case, and NXRT’s proprietary software, offering a compact yet powerful tool for interactive product presentations and immersive training scenarios. Delivered with full device logistics, secure storage, and first-level support by VR Expert, the solution ensures smooth rollouts across the DACH region. The experience has been available since February 2025 and is being deployed in sectors ranging from car sales to defense.
