The battery provides 2 hours of battery life and will recharge in an hour reducing interruption between VR experiences.
The battery cradle enables longer VR sessions on the XR Elite. Alongside this unlike the VIVE Focus 3 the VIVE XR Elite has a small battery inbuilt into the front of the Headset allowing the headset to remain on for a short period of time when swapping batteries.
