Edda Physics 1

Edda Physics 1 was launched by Swedish developer Edda Knowledge. It is a  virtual reality education platform designed to bring physics concepts to life through immersive, hands-on simulations. The software features six scientifically grounded labs that align with physics curricula and are perfect for classroom settings. Built on robust pedagogical research, this platform transforms abstract theories into engaging, experiential learning.

Edda Physics 1 offers six distinct labs: Archimedes’ Principle, Newton’s Laws of Motion, Nuclear Physics, Theory of Relativity, the Coriolis Effect, and Coulomb’s Law. Each lab enabling real-time variable manipulation and physics visualization. These interactive environments help students deepen their understanding by experiencing phenomena instead of just memorizing equations, delivering both conceptual clarity and engagement.

Developed from a university project in Sweden, the platform was designed in collaboration with cognitive scientists and educators. Early studies suggest that students learning via VR performed better than traditional lab groups. This scientific foundation supports both effective teaching outcomes and long-term retention.

Ideal for school use, the School License includes lesson plans, teacher dashboards, assessment tools, and collaboration features like screen sharing. It supports major VR platforms such as Meta Quests, HTC Vive, Pico, and any OpenXR-compatible headset.
