Powerful Performance
First, the Pico G3 is capable of handling some of the most immersive experiences and applications for any standalone VR Headset. The G3 comes equipped with the industry standard Snapdragon XR2 chip, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 835 Chip found on its predecessor the G2 4K. The Pico G3 also has 128GB storage and 6GB RAM allowing the headset to store multiple 360 degrees videos in 4k and is excellent at multitasking thanks to it’s RAM.
4K Display
Second, the Pico G3 has a 4K display with a resolution of 3664 x 2160, a Field of View(FoV) of 98 degrees and a 90Hz refresh rate, making it one of the best displays available for its class. The refresh rate is higher than the Pico G2 4K enabling high frame rate visuals to be displayed smoothly on the headset providing a high-quality simulation experience.
Open Android Operating System
Third, the Pico G3 runs on an open Android operating system. This means that the Pico G3 can easily be developed for by developers to create your own custom applications. This can be achieved by using the Software Development Kit. The SDK allows developers to create their own applications with either Unity, Unreal or the Native architecture and sideload it onto the Pico G3.
With the use of the Pico Developer center people can test & monitor their applications to see how their application runs and to find critical bugs.
The Pico G3 features it’s own built-in Kiosk mode which allows managers to limit the apps & videos that can be watched by the user.
Pico Business Suite
Fourth, the Pico G3 has access to the Pico Business Suite, this is an enterprise-specific operating system which enables you to manage your headsets with an inbuilt MDM solution, set up Kiosk mode alongside enabling casting & streaming.
