- Can I buy a custom Flight for other devices?
- What does the Flight Case solution contain?
The Flight Case includes the Flight Case itself, a polyethylene foam inlay, integrated charging and the spray twice a day with its microfibre cloth as cleaning accessories. Optionally, you can also configure your Flight Case with a TP-Link MR600 router for Internet connectivity (configuration 2), or you can choose the Flight Case with the router and a Galaxy Tab A9 64GB for headset management (configuration 3).
- How many headsets fit inside the Flight Case?
The Flight Cases have a specifically cut out foam inlay to fit an exact number and model of headsets in each Flight Case. Depending on how many headsets you want to store inside a Flight Case, we offer Flight Cases to fit 4 to 10 Pico 4 Enterprise, 10 to 15 Pico G3 and 4 to 10 Meta Quest 3.
- Does the Flight Case include the headsets?
No, the Flight Case does not come with the headsets. The headsets can be purchased seperately in our webshop or via our sales team.
- What is the Flight Case lead time for bulk orders?
For orders until 2 units, Flight Cases are delivered in 1 to 2 days.
The lead time for bulk Flight Case orders of more than 2 units, is between 2 and 4 weeks. Please feel free to contact us with your details for an estimated delivery timeline.
- What certifications does the Flight Case have?
The Flight Case is Air Transport Association Spec 300 Compliant meaning it is certified for air travel thanks to the Automatic Pressure Release Valve. It also has an IP67 rating ensuring that it has a certified dust- & waterproof exterior that offers complete protection. Additionally we offer lifetime limited warranty on the Flight Case.
- Does the lifetime limited warranty apply only to the Flight Case or also to the equipment it contains?
The lifetime limited warranty applies solely to the Flight Case. The headsets and other accessories contained within have their own respective warranty periods.
- Is the Flight Case designed for air travel, considering changes in air pressure and compliance with airline standards?
Yes, the Flight Case is equipped with a Pressure Release Valve to manage changes in air pressure during flights, ensuring the case’s integrity. Additionally, it is designed to be compliant with airline standards for checked luggage, including the durability requirements of ATA Spec 300 (Air Transport Association Spec 300). While it meets these rigorous standards, we always recommend verifying with your airline before travel to ensure compliance with their specific regulations.
- What is the procedure for cleaning and maintaining the Flight Case?
To clean the Flight Case, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Regularly check and clean the foam inserts to ensure they remain free of dust and debris.
- Can the Flight Case be branded with our company logo for corporate identity?
Custom branding options, including adding your company logo, are available upon request for bulk orders. Please contact our sales team for more information on customization and minimum order quantities.
- Is the SIM card included with the router of the Flight Case solution?
No, the SIM card is not included with the router in this solution. The SIM card for the TP-Link router can be purchased separately from your preferred provider.
- Does the TP-Link Wifi 6 Router need power?
Yes, all TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 routers require a constant power source to operate, typically via an included AC power adapter plugged into a wall outlet. While they require electricity to function, they are designed to be energy-efficient.
- How many devices can be connected to the TP-Link Wifi 6 Router simultaneously?
TP-Link Wi-Fi 6 routers (like the Archer AX21/AX50) are designed to handle comfortably around 40 to over 100+ devices simultaneously.
- What is the purpose of the tablet?
When combined with a MDM (Mobile Device Management) system, the tablet can be used to manage all VR Headsets. Some VR applications also have an accompanying application that runs on the tablet, allowing you for instance, to start a lesson for the entire class and check on quiz results.
With Pico headsets, it is also possible to project your VR view onto the tablet, so a teacher can see what a student is doing. - Is there a pre-installed MDM solution that comes with the Flight Case?
No, the Flight Case does not currently include an MDM system, however an MDM system of choice, such as ArborXR. Need advice on which MDM solution is for you? Get free advice from our experts here.
- How many headsets can the tablet manage?
The tablet has the capability to manage an unlimited number of headsets simultaneously. Whether you have a single headset or multiple cases with numerous headsets, all of them can be easily controlled and managed by just one tablet.
- How do I connect my headsets to the tablet?
You can connect the headsets to the tablet using an MDM system. To get started with an MDM system, the headsets first need to be registered via a PC. Once a headset is enrolled, you can manage it using the tablet. The headsets will be linked to your account and you’ll be able to manage them from anywhere. Additionally, when headsets are purchased together with the Flight Cases those can be preinstalled with a preferred software as well.
- Can the tablet be charged in the Flight Case or does it have to be plugged into a socket?
The Flight Case has one single power plug that connects to a wall outlet. The integrated charging solution in the Flight Case then automatically charges all the headsets and the tablet. The integrated charging solution can only be used when the lid of the Flight Case is open.
- What is the Galaxy Tab A9’s flash memory capacity?
The tablet has a memory capacity of 64 GB Flash Memory. Additionally, the memory capacity can be increased with a MicroSD card though the built-in MicroSD slot.
